From memory, I liked, “He can win the presidency, but he (Trump) will lose as president." But so many other great lines. Glad this was easy to share on YT.
Really appreciated your presentation on this exchange with Nima; the broad perspective of things you bring are really impressive. I didn't know that you have worked at the CERN; so your a technical guy...and you certainly know a lot about quantum physics....
I had the crazy idea that the war against China would entail the opening of a second front against Russia in the Far-East. Taiwan is the pretext to start the war, but the attack would be in the North, with the help of the Japanese, in support of the 'independence' of some 'Yamalo-Nenets Republic or Tyumen Republic', or Yakutia, or...., made easier by the continuous 'resistance' of the heroic 'Ukraine' which would pin down the bulk of the Russian forces. Haven't the Americans occupied once upon a time Vladivostock, Irkutsk? And the Japanese?
We know, of course. What is stupefying is that 'they' knew also, but 'they' are lazy students who failed the same course or course rule many times over. But there is a limit after which your enrolment in the program will be terminated with extreme prejudice.
Exactly. You may say that the first salvos of the WW of the 20th century have been fired in 1904 at Port Arthur. Americans had already manifested their burning desire to co-operate with Japan in ''the labor of modernization which has to be done in China, and for which China needs outside help and cooperation'' (Letter of Jacob H. Schiff to the Department of State). Schiff, who was a 'railway tycoon' beside the banker who funded the Japanese war effort and ati-Russian propaganda, was advocating for the Japanese control of the Transsiberian Railway, as part of the plan for a global transport system, in which of course Schiff would have had the lion's share. .
