Dmitry Orlov, your wife was trying to be polite and omitted the word imbecile, at the end of the sentence.

There are still some smart Aussies and Russians in the world.

I thought that the interviewer, Mike Ryan, did a good job with the questions as well as allowing people to respond. However, it seemed as though the American woman, Kate Jones, exemplified "Cognitive Collapse" which is the human version of a Large Language Model (AI) having a "hallucination" when the internal models of reality from the data sets that they were trained on don't match with the real world. Many people who have consumed a diet of western legacy media, with all of its lies and bizarre set of beliefs, also no longer have a functional internal model of reality and their minds cannot really cope with any collision with reality.

Totara, I used to be in psychology and you just wrote something very profound. Can I save this? I would credit you if I ever repeated it.

Rachel Winkel, Thank you, however, I cannot claim credit for the concept. I came across the idea at https://www.ecosophia.net/cognitive-collapse-a-first-reconnaissance/ and that was built upon the work of anthropologist, Gregory Bateson.

Not a bad discussion save for the woman, who shouldn't have been present. Hopelessly outclassed. No mind of her own. Stale cliches and platitudes which any LLM can churn out ad nauseam today.

Interesting back and forth. I think Kate Jones is British, not American. For some reason, the Brits, by and large, seem incapable of understanding Russia and view it thru a lens of animosity and a false sense of power that has actually dissipated without their realizing it. MI-6, however, continues to function with some effect. But I'm wondering, Dmitry, what made you decide to go back on YT?

I hear you, Dmitry. I retired a few years ago and now I only do what I want to do... all the time. If somehow I find myself doing something I don't really want to do, I find it unbearable.

Yanis has somehow become the most AI impersonated chap on the net. ome needs to check it's really him. Currently, the voice is a dead giveaway. One day it may be harder to discern human from AI when on the net.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dmitri flashing his Imperial double headed eagle coffee mug at the 22:44 mark, right before the terrible woman began to speak again. It was like showing a cross to a vampire.

Thanks Dmitry, I would like to add that I was in Poland in 2023, from June till mid November, there were plenty of so called Ukrainians, but they all were speaking Russian, once or twice, I could distinguish Ukrainian language among some young people.
