Should be fairly straightforward provided you keep in mind that half the time when I say "Israel" I mean "Iran" and when I say "Iran" I mean "Israel". I use the two terms interchangeably, just to give you something to work out in your head because otherwise this is pretty boring.

Just a couple of minor points from your excellent (I hope I heard correctly) interview with Nima:

1. Allister Crooke and others have said that Iran's enrichment facility is 800 meters deep. I recall you said 100 meters. No nuke of any size can penetrate that deep, according to Ted Postol. So bunker busters will all fail.

2. You are absolutely correct when you say that nuclear weapons are meant ONLY as a deterrent to nuclear attack from another country. The nuclear powers sort of codified this about 80 years ago in the term "Mutually Assurred Destruction" (MAD). You can Google that, but what it means is that a nuclear attack on a nuclear-capable foe is a guarantee of suicde for the attacker.

As John Mearsheimer recently said, Iran was foolish not to have obtaned nuclear weapons 20 years ago, so they are protected by MAD.

Kacper Nowak, I generally agree with you about Mearsheimer. Maria Zakharova issued a stunning response today about a couple of thinga JD Vance said. It's a bit long to publish here. After I read her piece I decided that the way this conflict would end would be in the middle east becoming a nuclear-free zone and also some kind of 2-state solution. Israel would give up its nukes. I think if the US and Israel don't agree to this, China and Russia will apply some force, but China and Russia will get their way.
