Your take on France is spot on. My country is a complete joke and it hursts to witness a seemingly endless downward spiral into irrelevance and insanity. This election cycle is a farce. The political frame is broken and the people more divided than ever. The left is displaying its rabid hatred and paranoia. Living standards are dropping. Full steam into collapse.

Thank you Dmitry and Nima! A very enlightening sweep across much of the globe and current affairs. And with a fine sense of humour to boot.
Re. BRICS+ payment, could you please elaborate a bit about the "bridge" you mentioned in BRICS? Clearly there is a huge trade imbalance bw. Russia and India, where India has less to offer to Russia, leading to excessive accumulation of Rupees that Russia has a hard time spending on things it needs... Similar bilateral trade imbalances are expected across the member spectrum. I wonder how can such gluttons of national currencies be traded across the bloc and turned into useful/"tradeable" assets by those that hold them?
Presumably there is a solution in the works, I just haven't found the right yet.

Another thought, YouTube generates or offers transcript of these interviews. Would it be possible to post them here for those hard of hearing or listening comprehension limitations?
There are many precious gems there that are worth reading.
At least your interviews are relatively short and incisive, no empty rumbling, etc.

Another very good interview, but I was a bit taken aback by seeing you in what look like Army Fatigues, Dmitry!!  Are you a volunteer - have you "joined up"?

I do appreciate your Dialogue Works interviews with Nima.  He asks good questions and you are very good with responses that often make me laugh.  As Reader's Digest used to say, "Laughter is the best medicine" in these crazy times.
