Dialogue Works: Russia doesn't give a damn about Europe
D R
Dear Dimitri is it known if the Drones that atacked the Russian Planes used Starlink? i hear some narratives saying they used GSM mobile networks, did the investigations published any relevant info on this
D R, Starlink is switched off over Russia. But you never know if there are secret keys that enable the service anyhow. Otoh, it is pretty safe to assume that these drones have been using the military version of GPS.
Superb: "If you look at all these countries in Europe that are waiting for Russia to attack them; Russia doesn't want to attack them. It is terrible. "They are going to waste all this money and prepare for war and Russia won't even show up. It is like I throw a party. I had it catered. ...lots of champagne, and dancing girls, and all that--and the guest of honor doesn't show up. It is a huge embarrassment."
Request to Dmitri regarding the Nima interviews. Please do it only once a fortnight and limit it to 30 minutes. It appears most of the questions Nima asks during these interviews are without proper preparation on his part and are thus random and lack intelligent follow up questions from him. All in all, the interviews often fail to provide new insights from you (as you may have already talked about them in previous interviews) because it lacks rigour from the interviewer. My point is that I want to hear an unfiltered and unadulterated Russian perspective and thinking from a Russian whose views I respect about the momentous events that are currently taking place in the world.
Brian Foltz, Yes, indeed I usually share Mr. Orlov's YT videos. Most Americans have never been exposed to most of his thoughts. Reviewing the material over and over and over again *might* finally break through to a limited number of Americans. Might. (Not counting on it though.) Most Americans are, and will probably remain, clueless.
Somindra Ghosh, I know around ten alternative channels from the Duran to Scott Ritter where the same informations are processed and always too long. We "know it all insiders" can just ignore them or pick some bits of insight. I have come to the conclusion that these programs are necessary in order to enlarge the audience.
Be happy about the lifetime gained by not watching.
I look forward to Mr. Orlovs next written piece. He is a wonderful essayist.
Hua Bin - over at Unz makes great observation that they mystery drones over eastcoast US - were likely somekind of warm up - testing for drone attack. https://www.unz.com/bhua/mystery-drones-over-new-jersey-solved/ . Many happenned near US airforce bases. Biden Admin was mum on whole affiar and trump admin said it was known to biden admin what was going on - but did comment further. News was all over road - Alien - Chinese CCP - some rogue UN operation was behind all the drones.
I always appreciate your commentary and the superior observations you bring to the table. That said, I must agree with Somindra Ghosh—Nima’s questioning often comes across as unprofessional and lacking in preparation and depth.
It frequently feels like he is fishing, interjecting personal opinions, giggling, and passing judgment. At times, it becomes difficult to watch and, frankly, quite cringe-worthy.
Dmitry, I would love to see you featured in more professional and thoughtful programs. Now that I have subscribed, I hope to be able to access all your posted appearances.
Thank you for generously sharing your insights and perspective—they are always illuminating.
Maria, thats just snobby. Nima's show is a great place to provide Mr.Orlov with some exposure and a good resource for the layperson. Mr.Orlov is a rare intellectual resource, like a rare earth mineral but even rarer. We need his intellect/wisdom to be shared far and wide. Fact is that Mr.Orlov is just on another level intellectually. I'm sure he gets bored and frustrated interacting with us regular folk but I am always grateful for his important insights.
David Tepper, US nuclear weapons are all decades old and mostly made with plutonium. The reactors that made the plutonium no longer operate. The used to have a membrane-based uranium enrichment plant, but that method is noncompetitive because of high energy demands and was shut down. US centrifuge-based enrichment projects failed to deliver. There are currently some French plants (Areva) operating in the US but the US has zero uranium enrichment capability of its own due to missing technology.
The comment about German leaders kissing arse is appropriate, but to add a German perspective: Things are getting pretty depressing here. Large sections of the electorate are completely lobotomised, unable to see the way things are going, and those who are awake are being discriminated against as Nazis.
Chris Oswald, I am not German, but I spent 6 semesters mastering their verdammten language "an der Uni" and had lots of exposure to Germany, Germans and things German thereafter. That was 35 years ago. And I'd like to add that what you are describing has been the trend ever since then.
Dmitry Orlov, Hello guys, I can confirm your views. I have recently spent 3 years in Germany, from 2020. I was all the time intrigued, amazed and appalled on how people were generally very acritical about most of the things going on around them and ready to accept official/MSN narratives on everything. The level of such “narratives” was abysmal. I also passed years in some other European countries, like Switzerland, France, and Italy. The same trend goes on around there too. The main difference I noticed in Germany was how strongly people were unwilling to hear anything different from the official/MSN narratives. Any different opinion was quickly tagged as "nazi". And I am talking about common people. Every foreigner was commenting about it… It was, indeed, a quite depressing time over there. I dropped my contract in the middle and left the country. Some context: I am actually a particle physicist, but have been interested in history and geopolitics since very young age.
I just wanted to add something (in case anyone hasn't realised) and leave it at that . The utter madness that has befallen Germany is beautifully documented by Chancellor Merz's decision to take action to prevent Nordstream from coming back on stream, regardless of any involvement by the US or other Western countries in any form.
