Dialogue Works: Nima can't stop talking about Trump

Utterly excruciating. Really and truly.
I don't know how Mr Orlov can sit through a 3/4 hour of that. More power to his posterior, and may the Golems of YouTubeLand bless him with a few extra subscriptions for his troubles.
In general, I like Nima too because he has a good heart, but at the moment I would like to slap him through the monitor. Yesterday, I stopped watching this video after about 15 minutes. As much as I would have liked to hear the rest of Dmitri's answers, I just couldn't take it anymore. Nima has been going on and on about the “Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump” for months now, and it's just too much.
No one will interview Dimitry except Nimma . So kudos to Nimma for that .
Daniel Drazenovich, you are correct. i have an operational theory. Dimitry is so direct and authentic that those who maintain any type of false front (persona) quake in his virtual presence. my particular attraction to Dimitry's comments are that authenticity. i do not have a command of the facts anywhere near him but i am able to triangulate off of his observations for verification. Nima, i believe, is 100% authentic. That is why the interviews work at all. hopefully Nima will expand and grow but he is about the best we in the seats have. thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Nima should substantially shorten his questions. His English is atrocious. I came to hear Nima's guests talk, not a Nima monologue.
Sigrun Laate, and concentraysh on the spelling firzt too while he's at it, darling. Well said!
Dr Vanessa Coccinelle, The less talent they have, the more pride, vanity and arrogance they have.
The best definition of man is: a being that goes on two legs and is ungrateful.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Notes from Underground
Nima's problem is perhaps that he sees the world through US-centric lens. But the US is becoming increasingly irrelevant on the world stage. Other parts of the world are learning to ignore it, sidestep it. Trump's bombastic rhetoric and threats camouflage the ghastly reality of the reduction of USA's clout and prestige. Trump is playing to the yokels and rubes who constitute his base.
Arshad Ali, the USA is nearing death. Very soon it will be impotent. It already lies in its shitty bed slobbering through toothless gums how great it is. In a little while it'll cough up a death rattle and be tossed in a hole in the ground.
And the attendants will sigh in relief and say "Goddamn, I'm glad that's over."
Dmitry Orlov - Perhaps you should take an initiative yourself in bringing forward important information during Nimas interviews. You're not under exams responding. I have seen others of his guests doing that, and Nima did not seem to mind. You are after all the most knowledgefull on both Russian history- and current events.
Sigrun Laate, Nima is doing an excellent job, i feel emotionaly like most on the anterior comments, but, for me is quite clear that Nima as Dmitry Orlov and others participants are always talking for ALL the possible viewers, including the new ones, even those that just arrived, not for me in particular.
I also think that each one sees the world from is own mind and never from the mind of each one of us.
GREAT JOB, THANK YOU, KEEP ON GOING on this track. We are winning and will sucede!

There was absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing.. Let me be clear NOTHING, that Nima did in this interview to deserve the criticism directed against him here.
I 100% agree with Dimitri's analysis of the situation between the US and Russia.
Dima didn't take sides. The criticism of Dima is totally unjustified.
I think you're all being a little unfair with Nima.
Nima uses Trump as a symbolic stand-in for the US Empire. After all and for better or worse (essentially worse) Trump is nominally "in charge" of said Empire.
I've been recommending Nima for over a year to hire a coach... to no avail. His ramblings are insufferable and excruciating. I appreciate his guests, best of all Dmitry, but the language barrier is no excuse. Please, keep questions short and tick the list when they've been answered. I even hesitate to watch this video because me and Dr. Coccinelle are usually the only ones to complain...  exploding_head
Stein Bauge, Jamarl is fine. Yes, he rambles a bit but who is perfect???
Judy Dyer, sure, what really sucks is long clips with the tRump admin cretins
Mr. Orlov is the Best Guest Ever! I never miss his interviews! I have even been know to watch them twice! :)
I take Nima, no matter how good or not good he does, at any time over the execrable, hysterically Trump-obsessed US media. All of them. Nima's interviews with Dmitry belong to the very essential ones each week. I, for one, get a great laugh from the wickedly wry humor with which Dmitry spices his answers. Delicious. And ruthlessly honest.
I dont think Nima gets Dmitry's humour and indifference .Sadly. Thats why he looks stunned when Dmitry doesnt answer the question too seriously
Dmitry, Would like to get your take on Brian Berletic's recent posting: Regarding US-Russian Negotiations. IMHO, it is spot on. Berletic's posting can be found on the DD Geopolitics channel.
Dmitry Orlov, DD Geopolitics is a Telegram channel, if u can access that.
James Morris, I need a telegram link to the post you want my opinion on.

Try this. I can open from my browser.
I read the post. It sounds a bit prescriptive; who is he trying to give advice to? The Russian leadership? They do not think in such simple terms and are playing their own game, not his.
Dmitry Orlov, I certainly hope you are right. We will see soon enough.
Dmitry Orlov, Last time Witkoff went to Moscow, for "negotiations", US covertly and not quite so covertly unrolled the Spiderweb. I wouldn't be surprised if nothing worthy is expected in Alaska and the show is cancelled.
Dmitry, the idea of VVP going for a “summit” in Alaska makes me very uneasy. My concern is that Trump clearly has no control over his government, he has zero influence over CIA and various other agencies that cook up all the terror attacks against Russia. To me agreeing to meet on enemy’s turf is beyond reckless. Especially, when the enemy is neither rational nor genuinely interested in resolving the conflict. What’s your take on this?
_ GHazel (‪GreenHazel‬), I think FSO (ФСО) will not allow that, if US doesn't fulfill security detail protocol the meeting will not happen, I think the meeting will not happening because other clownery on the part of the US like this: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0e9py7e28xo I think the Russian security detail and president Vladimir Putin will fly for the circus.
_ GHazel (‪GreenHazel‬), If Putin and Trump agree to extend New START treaty by another 5 years (expires February 2026) and leave it at that, this would be a big success. As far as location, Alaska seems a good place since there are no other countries in the middle and it's close to Russia. Everybody thinks that the Ukraine is somehow important but I can't imagine why.
Nima has a good heart but is intimidated by Mr Orlov’s superior intellect and fails to use his own disadvantage as an incentive to lighten up a bit and just let Mr Orlov speak freestyle. Mr Orlov speaks multiple languages and sees 10-15 steps ahead. I don’t blame Nima for feeling a little bit insecure. He is still recovering from the devastatingly honest answers Mr Orlov provided post Syria disaster.
Nima seems to be a "Diehard" fan of Trump and cannot see past the real narcissistic, manipulative, warmongering "Donald," The US people are having to deal with this blowhard and what he does to his "citizens." They are the ones who could fill Nima in on the agendas, real and fake of DJT. Mr. Orlov is just telling Nima the realities of how Trump treats his citizens, treats other countries, pitting them against each other.
Twisted, no, he's not a "fan" of Trump. He just didn't have a good set of questions prepared and kept hammering at whatever came to mind.
Everyone needs to just quit the carefully written analysis, point all fingers at the nefarious players, and hit them all with as many folk song-raps as possible. Ask Carolyn Baker is I'm full of s**t.
