I’m Chernoff, an independent developer, creator, and resident technomancer at RushFrame Lab.

I build RushFrame, a local-first AI video editor for Windows, built around ComfyUI. The idea is simple: AI video should feel less like collecting random clips and more like making a film.

After spending enough time with generative models, prompts start looking suspiciously like spells. Certain formulas work. Others summon absolute nonsense. Eventually, you stop throwing away the useful ones and start keeping a book.

Here I share the work behind RushFrame: development notes, releases, practical guides, local AI experiments, distributed GPU workflows, and failures worth documenting. Real tools, real decisions, and the occasional discovery that probably happened far too late at night.

But the software is only part of the story. Around it, a neon-lit world is taking shape: original characters, short films, strange encounters, and elaborate plans with questionable chances of success. This is where I build the tools and explore what I can make with them.
