Can My PC Run RushFrame? Managed vs. External ComfyUI Explained
RushFrame can generate video in two different ways: it can install and manage its own local ComfyUI server, or it can connect to a compatible ComfyUI server running somewhere else on your private network.
These two modes have very different hardware requirements.

Managed Server: when RushFrame runs AI locally
If you choose Managed Server, RushFrame installs and owns the local generation environment for you: ComfyUI, the required runtime, nodes, models, and the rest of the generation stack.
Because RushFrame has to know that this exact stack can actually run on your machine, the Managed Server has a hardware gate.
Currently, Managed local generation requires:
- Windows x64
- a supported NVIDIA GPU
- NVIDIA driver 580.65 or newer
- compute capability 7.5 or newer
- at least a nominal 8 GB of VRAM
- at least 32 GB of physical system RAM
- enough combined GPU/system memory to pass RushFrame's adaptive capacity check
That last point deserves an explanation.
