Rules of buying art/adoptables from me:

1. At the moment my art and adoptables are sold on DA and TH only, and using this boosty account and hipolink as a method of receiveing payments.

If you see me selling my art anywhere else, it's a scam. I am not responsible for the money lost from the purchases done from any places other than my DA, TH or this boosty account / hipolink.

2. Adoption rules may vary depending on what kind of adoptables I sell (such as common or closed species designs), they're stated on DA or TH page where the design is being sold.

3. You can do whatever you want with the designs purchased from me afterwards, such as redesigning, reselling, using for commercial purposes, etc, unless specific rules are stated on DA or TH page where it's being sold (this mostly applies to closed species adopts. closed species adopts can not be used for commercial purposes).

However, you must always abide the law and not use the designs and art purchased from me for illegal purposes.

Using my designs and artwork for training AI is not allowed for any purposes, even if you've paid for the said art and design.

Due to my own health issues and disability, I've been getting more rusty on my designing... or maybe I'm just getting old. I feel like it's getting harder for me to make something "creative" and not copy my own older existing works, or even someone else's by accident (probably my brain's imprints of other designs it memorized). c':

I still haven't found any other payment alternatives that aren't shady.

I'm not feeling comfortable with Lavatop or EasyStart, as both require way too much personal information, and I'm paranoid. Wish it was simpler times when I didn't have to jump through hoops just to sell some silly OCs.

Either way, I've noticed, as of lately, I'm more comfortable with making custom designs, hence why I've been making lots of "moodboard customs".

I was also thinking about expanding to some other websites, but I'm honestly struggling maintaining even just these two, it's tiring. c':

EDIT 01.02.25: Due to some changes, there is no proper Paypal option anymore, and I don't have any alternatives as of yet. From what I saw, some sort of digital PayPal cards are available though.

1. Go to my Hipolink page: https://hipolink.me/bluefeatherbird

2. Press the purple "PAY HERE" button, a new page will pop up.

3. From there, type in the price from the adoptable description into the "Tip amount", USD option.

Then type in your e-mail in the e-mail line, and press the "Send Code" button.

It will send a code to your e-mail. If it isn't there, try checking spam folder.

* You can also check the "Cover the creator's fee" option if you're feeling generous. Don't check that option if you don't want to pay more than discussed.

4. Copy the code from the e-mail and insert it into "Code" line.

5. Choose the card or Paypal option, press "Pay", and type in everything you need.

6. Apparently there's a possibility of an error occuring, but the money should've been transfered successfuly even with that error. Warn me if that happen and I will check whether the money has actually arrived or not.

So after seeing many people flee to Hipolink due to Boosty's PayPal support cut off, I've finally made my own account there.

It's WIP at the moment and I'm trying to grasp how it works exactly.

(I'll probably try to make my own text instructions using the video when I figure out the website, and I haven't even set up the widgets and such yet. I'll probably edit this post when I figure things out.)

I'm still there, just less active due to IRL stuff and the fact that PayPal option is still not back, and I'm having my doubts it's coming back anytime soon. I have yet to find a reliable alternative if this doesn't change (some of them don't feel trustworthy to me, require too much or simply don't accept smaller payments).

If you're still having issues with paying for anything from me and your debit card isn't compatible with Boosty, there's nothing I can do, other than for you to ask if anyone you trust could pay for you with the compatible card. That's about it.

Edit: from what I found in the Boosty group's comments (edit: and hipolink group), this is apparently the list of incompatible cards:

- USAA, NAVY FEDERAL Credit Union, Service Credit Union + Holiday club, PENFED
- Wells Fargo Bank

- Any cards without "international transactions allowed" enabled (no clue how it works)

- Citizens Bank, Credit One Bank, Danske Bank, Visa gift card (checked on Hipolink), some virtual cards, CashApp
- There was also mention of some "3D Secure" being active on the card, that the payment goes through with this active only? (I'm illiterate on this kind of thing)

*I know nothing about cards and all that, I'm just copying what I saw from the comments, and the info may be no longer accurate or incomplete, sorry if I'm dumb

If your card is compatible, you're free to check the adoptables I still have on my DA or TH.
