ForgePlanner works out what things really cost. Tell it what you want to build and it breaks the whole order down to ore, wood, coal and smelting time, upgrades included - the part most calculators get wrong, because Valheim doubles the upgrade surcharge at every quality level.
 
It comes in two halves. A website, forgeplanner.pages.dev, for planning before you launch the game. And a mod that puts the same planner inside Valheim on F7, reading recipes, prices and station levels straight from your running game, so the numbers survive a game patch instead of going quietly stale.
 
Both are free and stay free: no ads, no accounts, no paid features, nothing held back for supporters. This page exists for two things - occasional notes on what changed, and a tip jar for anyone the tool has saved some time. Paying nothing costs you nothing; there is no premium version and there never will be.
