ForgePlanner - a free crafting planner for Valheim
Hi. I make ForgePlanner - a free crafting planner for Valheim.
Tell it what you want to build and it works out what the order really costs: down to ore, wood, coal and smelting time, upgrades included. That last part is where most calculators go wrong. Valheim doubles the upgrade surcharge at every quality level, so a fully upgraded item costs far more than the recipe on the workbench suggests.
It now comes in two halves.
The website, forgeplanner.pages.dev, for planning before you launch the game. Several items in one list, multiplied by the number of players, with the station and the level it needs. English and Russian.
The mod, which puts the same planner inside the game on F7. It reads recipes, conversions, item names, icons, trader prices and your language straight from your running install, so the numbers keep matching after a game patch instead of going quietly stale. It also counts what you already have - your inventory and the chests around you - and tells you which station the plan needs, how far away it is and in which direction.
This page exists for two things.
First, occasional notes on what changed: what was added, what broke, and how I fixed it. Rebuilds for new game patches, new sections of the catalogue, that sort of thing.
Second, you can support the project with money if it has been useful to you. It is voluntary and it changes nothing. ForgePlanner was free and stays free, all of it - no ads, no accounts, no paid features, no supporter-only sections. Nothing disappears if you never pay a thing. The money goes to the domain and to coffee, not to a premium tier that is never going to exist.
Unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Iron Gate.
Found a number that looks wrong, or something missing? Tell me. I read everything.
