Hi! I’m a hobbyist who builds custom firmware for gaming handhelds and music devices.

I also create and adapt ports of older games for Chinese gaming handhelds.

My main project right now is Ambrola, an alternative firmware for the Dirtywave M8 Model:02. It turns the M8 into a portable studio with a traditional DAW-style workflow, designed around recording guitar and bass without a laptop.

Ambrola is written from scratch using open-source libraries. It’s an independent, unofficial project and uses no code, sounds, or presets from Dirtywave’s firmware.
