Очень рада за Юлю Павлову - ее книга "О лесе, скорби и ловушках" вышла в финал очень серьезного конкурса Encontros da Imagem Photobook Award и будет участвовать в этом году в фестивале в Португалии. Кроме того, книга уже вошла в коллекцию библиотеки музея Гараж в Москве.

I am very happy for Yulya Pavlova - her book "Forest, Traps & Sorrow" has been shortlisted for the Encontros da Imagem Photobook Award and will participate this year in the festival in Portugal. In addition, the book has already entered the collection of the library of the Garage Museum in Moscow.

Юлина работа - очень хороший пример целенаправленной и продуманной стратегии художника и повод не сомневаться в своих силах, а следовать своему призванию. Как куратор, я могу только радоваться и гордиться такими результатами.

Yulya's work is a very good example of the artist's purposeful and thoughtful strategy and a reason not to doubt one's abilities, but to follow one's vocation. As a curator, I can only rejoice and be proud of such results.

В шортлист фестиваля также вошла книга Бином Наташи Драчинской, за которую я тоже очень рада и делюсь ссылкой на интервью, где Наташа рассказывает о своем творчестве.

Юля, присоединяюсь к твоим отзывам о Encontros Da Imagem Photobook Award :) Тоже хочу добавить свое впечатление, что книги попавшие в шорт лист становятся частью коллекции и библиотеки Encontros Da Imagem и очень приятно, в этой коллекции книги "живут" - принимают участие в других тематических выставках, в образовательных программах. Так мою (нашу с тобой) книгу "Постепенное море" после шорт листа еще включали в выставки про воду и про синий цвет. Это так приятно, что у поекта появляются новые и новые зрители, новый взгляд кураторов. Мне кажется далеко не каждый конкурс может похвастаться таким long term value

Julia, I join your feedback on the Encontros Da Imagem Photobook Award :) I also want to add my impression that the shortlisted books become part of the Encontros Da Imagem collection and library and it's very nice that books "live" in this collection - they take part in others thematic exhibitions, in educational programs. So my (ours with you) book "Sea I become by degrees" after the short list was also included in the exhibitions about water and about the blue color. It's so nice that the project has more and more viewers, a new view of the curators. It seems to me that not every competition can boast such a long term value
