Seven years later, I still admire how one photo can be used as a source of inspiration to create an entire collection..

The method of working with leather, which originated much earlier and which is still the basis for me, acquired a conceptual basis at that moment. My anatomical approach, paired with minimalism and brutalism of silhouette, was literally captured in this portrait of Pina Bausch taken by Peter Lindbergh. 

The idea of a second skin, a piece that does not overshadow the owner, but is an extension of his own, forming and complementing a strong and independent image. A woman whose face bears the imprint not just of age or experience, but of her very personality..
