Фанаты возмущены тем, что стриминговый сервис Hulu преждевременно прекратил трансляцию «Оскара» после того, как произошли перебои. А я ведь думал показывать Оскар с хулу, благо другие варианты подошли лучше (еще раз приносим извинения за заминки с качеством в начале).

Пользователи социальных сетей и фанаты были возмущены тем, что трансляция, по всей видимости, преждевременно завершилась после объявления победителя в номинации «Лучший режиссер». Самое смешное, что по-видимому Хулу поставили таймер, и трансляция закончилась ровно 03:30:00, хотя церемония длилась 03:50:00.

Hulu users in the US faced a major outage on Sunday night, right as the 2025 Oscars went live. The streaming platform, broadcasting the event for the first time, experienced widespread technical failures, locking out tens of thousands of paying customers

  Downdetector, a site that monitors online service disruptions, reported 34,145 complaints about Hulu by 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. An hour later, 17,000 users were still unable to access the service. Many received an error message reading "missing error JSON structure," indicating a server-side failure. 

“I subscribed to hulu again just for the Oscars and then they decide to cut off the show before Best Actress and Best Picture,” one user wrote. “What the f***?” added another. “Missed the end of the Oscar’s because Hulu is trash. Smh (shaking my head),” wrote another user.

Others pointed out the unfortunate timing of the mishap. “Sean Baker gives a speech about why movie theaters are better than streaming services and then Hulu goes down right before Best Picture is announced…case in point,” one user wrote. “Hulu just kicked everybody off the Oscars broadcast while a director made a speech begging for people to care about movies. Cinema!” added another.
