If you saw me irl, you’d probably never guess that I’m actually a pretty positive person and a bit of a clown

And you definitely wouldn’t guess that most of my art is bright, colorful, lighthearted, and basically overflowing with my love for life

I guess my face is just a little too intimidating for that (ーー;), and apparently none of it made it into my all-black wardrobe

The very first artwork I posted on Fur Affinity was created on a 9.7-inch iPad (2018). It was a wonderful starting point, even though it had some major limitations, especially the layer limit. At the time, though, it was the best tool I had, and it gave me the opportunity to really begin my digital art journey

Eventually, Procreate started crashing without saving my work, so I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE. That's where I began learning Clip Studio Paint. It served me well for quite a while, but as my illustrations became more detailed,with more layers, effects, and custom brushes, it gradually struggled to keep up

In the end, it could take up to 40 minutes just to switch from one brush to another

That's when I made the riskiest purchase of all: an XP-Pen Artist 22 Plus.

Unlike my previous devices, it's a pen display that connects to a computer rather than working on its own. I was worried about adapting because it doesn't have a touchscreen, but the transition was surprisingly smooth. I think the built-in dial made the whole experience much easier than I expected
