Regarding YGD Indev-4 Update
In this post I would like to share some info about the upcoming Indev-4 update.
Just as a disclaimer of some sorts: I am not yet ready to announce a release date, sorry. The update is massive, and I need some time to adjust all of the existing mechanics to wider screens and add new stuff. Please excuse me for the wait.

Basically, I am working on a PC release for YGD.
One of the key features of the PC version will be vastly expanded customizability. For example, you will be able to upload more custom sprites without worrying that they might disappear upon relaunching the game. Although, the major feature I am working on is a scenarios system.
Scenarios function like additional game profiles except for the fact, that each scenario can have it's own set of rules, like increased or decreased growth and income rates, karma modifiers, allowed or disallowed upgrades and so on. Additionally, scenarios may also include custom events, that can complement the base roster or fully substitute it.
Scenarios can be created and edited in the special scenario editor.

You will be able to switch between different scenarios without need to reload your savefile, since each scenario saves it's progress separately.
Also, the basic scenario will be fully compatible with the HTML version of the game and you will be able to transfer your progress from your browser to the PC (or vice versa if you would like to).
The thought behind this update is as follows: I have never intended YGD to be a "your character - my story" type of game, and I do not really want to only release story updates as the time goes on. I want everyone to be able to do so.
In other case, how could I call the game "Your Growth Drive"?
