Progress Update!
Since releasing v0.9.7, I've been diligently working on the new update. I wanted to share some details about the upcoming v0.9.8 release, which will be available soon. I also have some exciting news about our new project, "Cam Wars!"
First, here's what you can expect in Agency Episode 3 v0.9.8:

Cam Wars development log:
I'm working on a side project to build a point-and-click open-world real-life simulation. This side project will also serve as the foundation for the Cam Wars game engine, so I'm designing many new features and carefully crafted locations with unique stories to discover.
Cam Wars will include many countries, but I've based everything on New York City for this side project. Here is the first half of our main city:
I've used parallax for the main map and navigation system, allowing you to scroll through different parts of the map using mouse or arrow keys. You can see which characters are present at each location, and their locations will change based on the time of day. If a character has a quest, event, or content you haven't seen, you'll notice an animated, flashing exclamation mark above the location. A yellow exclamation mark indicates a main quest, green for a side quest, and blue for events.
Here is the other half of the map at a different time of day:
Currently, there's no UI, but I'm working on it. Once completed, it will include icons at the top of the screen to show the time of day, and the current hour, and provide access to your inventory and phone.
I've also designed a special ATM system, which works just like real-life ATMs, for the ATM icons you see on the map. Along with this, there will be a banking system featuring some interesting characters.
For interior locations, I've designed two different systems for free exploration. In the first system, you can click on objects or options to move around as you wish. The second system allows you to open a blueprint of the building in the top left corner, similar to a mini-map, and quickly navigate to different locations. This system also shows where characters and quests are located.
As you can see here, Julia and Dick are in their offices, with their pictures displayed on the buttons.
An example of the minimized version of the mini interior map:
There will also be interactive objects in the locations. For example, you can click on each of the sticky notes in the image above to read what is written on them.
Additionally, I'm designing several mini-games and a card game for the new project. I'll also be hiding secret cards in the locations, which will give you bonuses. These cards can also be used in a card game.
The cards I mentioned will be 2D stylized drawings of in-game characters. For the card designs, I've taken inspiration from the art style of GTA. The example cards below are for a character in the game named "Valentina" AKA Valentina Nappi.
Example cards (currently without the card template or bonuses, just the visuals):
That's all for now, but there's still a lot of work to be done. I'll keep you updated on the progress. Thanks for your support! If you have any ideas or thoughts about what you'd like to see in the game, please share them in the comments or dm.
