My jumper with little sheep on it
I’ve been swamped with orders.

Of course, I really can’t complain about anything, except perhaps that this is now turning into a proper job.
By ‘job’, I mean hard, thankless work just to put food on the table and pay for the internet. Actually, this experience has helped me make a few interesting discoveries about myself.
I can’t relax until I’ve handed the work over to the client; I’d rather work 24/7 without food or water than take a break from it. It’s like a situation where I receive an order and that order is a time bomb with a digital timer that I’ve drawn myself. I realise, of course, that clients often wait more than three days for their work, but I don’t like to drag things out, and even more so, I hate cutting corners. I simply can’t hand in work that I know isn’t up to standard – my conscience won’t let me – but at the same time, I end up disliking every piece of my latest work, even if I previously considered it a masterpiece. This helps me to improve my skills, but it doesn’t help me to fully love what I do...
