✦ The All-Rounder: Frankentoon Studio (FTOON - Clouds Liner) This is the absolute MVP of my drawing process. Unlike many artists who swap tools constantly, I use this textured brush for sketching, clean line art, and base rendering. It gives the entire piece a beautiful, cohesive, traditional-media feel right from the start.
✦ The Base Fill: Lucas Peinador (LP Dagger) Before diving into complex shading, I need clean, solid base colors. The LP Dagger brush is my absolute favorite for blocking in base shapes. It has perfect shape dynamics, making the flat coloring stage incredibly fast and neat.
✦ Smooth Transitions: Mimi's Brushes (Mimi's Soft & Hard Airbrush) Whenever I need to create soft skin gradients, glowing elements, or smooth color transitions, I switch to Mimi’s airbrushes. They blend beautifully without making the artwork look muddy or blurry.
✦ The Gritty Gradient: Extra Noise Brush To break up flat digital surfaces and add depth, I apply a grainy noise gradient over my shadows. It instantly gives the artwork a nostalgic, printed, retro-illustration vibe.
