How do we download the update?
Grant Williams, check the post below, there's a new file
Bought the sound pack. It is really better than the default, however I believe there is still stuff to do.
- The overall sound seems too low.
- The packs can barely be heard from the passenger view (cabin)
- When you set a power or about 50% N1 a very weird metallic sound can be heard, sounds like a mixing of a sound that just feels super weird, making the engine transition into full power not seamless. I've heard videos with V1 of your sound pack and it was better.
- From the cabin view again the engine sound is lower, which doesn't make sense as you are physically closer to the engine.
Keep the work, thanks for improving the sounds. Cheers!
Vlad. A., just to note the metallic sound is the harmonic tone of the Trent 7000/1000 engine, you can listen to some on Youtube for references (https://youtu.be/pEVnl27L2iQ?si=hcxDuE0oEGrx3htI)
Travis Chu Nguyen, thanks! I didn't catch that detail and after looking for some extra videos I found that indeed it has a bit of that sound, but it is not as pronounced as it is there on the fmod, perhaps.
cheers!
Is there somebody who has recent news from the dev?
Answer to my own question: Everything ok
