This is like coming out of a thick fog. I was working on something completely different and then bam! - the short comparing Transformers One's treatment of D-16 and Orion Pax is complete!

I guess this is technically a side project in my "TFOne" criticism idea that I've been working on for about a month now but seeing how long that'll probably take, I think creating bite-sized critiques in the meantime could be fun.

I've been struggling with this, I don't even know why. But! I love this ship so I really wanted to finish it. I also enjoy making transformers interact with each other, even in small ways, like physical contact is not that common (or maybe I'm blind lol)

It's inspired by a scene in a fic "Soundwave's Pretty Okay Week" - https://archiveofourown.org/works/57441766 - by my partner in Transformers BigBang 2024, amasing TerminallyCagey. I loved it so much I had to do more art for it, even if BB ended a long time ago :3

I don't know how round bracelets are supposed to be made, but I wondered - what if I took the loose threads at the edges and connected them? I mean, the answer is obvious, I just wanted to make it :3

I made this literally because Rodimus is red like Дед Мороз (Father Christmas or Grandfather Frost) and Soundwave is blue like Снегурочка (Snow Maiden). It's just fun! :3

And I have no idea what to write x) So Imma yap about this art!

My last finished piece is in this accidental series. I am generally a fan of rare pairs and don't really care who to draw with Soundwave as long as it makes my brain pleasantly tickle and my friend's favourite bot is Smokescreen so... :3

Honestly the first one isn't even supposed to be suggestive, at least not from Soundwave's perspective (Smokes is, however, terrified and does not know what to think).

I imagined a similar situation to what happened in the show when Smokescreen got taken to the Nemesis and then had to escape. It is also my headcanon that Soundwave is so done with the war and Megatron that he's not even trying anymore, his maximum is completing orders as given, he won't go above and beyond (for example is when he had to retrieve a relic, like yeah, Laserbeak was in danger but killing an already felled enemy is a matter of seconds, c'mon). Another point for this scenario is that when Cliffjumper gets killed Soundwave is nowhere to be found but when Starscream tries to kill Wheeljack Soundwave is there to stop him. Well, he didn't try to save Skyquake but that guy was too murderous and unruly to keep around, I mean, everyone knows how soft the Autobots are, they're less likely to kill anyone, this is just common sense (✨ignore Bay movies✨).

With all that in mind I thought that Soundwave could catch Smokescreen on his way out and instead of recapture, hid him until it was safe to leave. An impulsive decision from an old bored and probably depressed bot to save this young spitfire and enjoy the novelty he brings to their stale lives a bit longer.

Now, how did that turn into an actual relationship? I dunno but I like it so it is :3
