LOKP - The New Adventure - Act-3 - The Wild Planet (v0.2) News 2

Hi,
after having several conversations and observing the reactions, I came to the conclusion that it would be best to focus on revitalizing the game world. Therefore, I made a list of things I can work on in the near future for a future game expansion:

1) Maybe it's time to diversify the process of showering under the waterfall, and the cave location in general. I think I could try to incorporate random encounters into the plot, for example, with the Chief's tent guard, perhaps with one of the brothers from update 0.1, or maybe even a meeting with the male character for whom Krystal danced at the end of the tavern quest series (and had fun in finale, or not, depend on what player choose), which could potentially lead to one of the possible endings in the game (Again, it depends on the player's choices. It's a kind of opportunity to end the journey prematurely (not a bad ending, just not the canonical one, let's say)).It's also possible to add some kind of expansion to the Tavern storyline, although in my opinion, it's already too large compared to the others, but perhaps I'll add some new special ending during the process (for example, where Krystal completely replaces Mira (or helps her), and not in dancing, but in another type of entertainment for the warriors of the tribe).The downsides of this idea are that I would like to update some of the male avatars, and I might replace the guard at the Chief's tent. However, if we're talking about replacing the lizard from the Tavern (the one who had fun with Mira but showed interest in Krystal), in that case, I would have to change much more if I wanted to replace it as well (because it contains a lot of content, and I don't really want to rework it)... In general, I'm probably not yet mentally ready for this (And I haven't found any suitable new avatars to replace them yet.), and I'm more drawn to the next option, which I would like to tackle first.

2) Since I see that some people have grown fond of the characters from Act 2 and enjoyed the space theme... I think it would be a good idea to add more variety to Krystal's dreams (at the moments when she goes to sleep). For example, as her reputation within the tribe increases, at certain levels Krystal will experience dream fragments from her past. She won't be sure if they are real or just figments of her imagination, but some of these dreams will contain moments from Act 2, interactions with key characters on the space station, and perhaps even some important decisions. However, understanding what many expect from my project, I think that the lust parameter will also play an important role in such dreams. For example, if the player doesn't level up this parameter, the dreams will contain more moments of communication or something similar, but if Krystal has a lot of lust, the dreams will become much more diverse... In short, I think you understood the hint. I might also show some moments that I originally wanted to show in Act 2, but then, due to a decline in interest in the game, I moved on to Act 3, although, as I later found out, these ideas might have actually been well-received (for example, Krystal's encounter in the laundromat with the person who was stealing her clothes, yeah...).And perhaps, as a bonus amidst all of this, Kita will become more observant; perhaps, while watching Krystal's lustful dreams, the sleeping vixen will attract attention, and Kita will somehow open up to her even more deeply against this backdrop. In short, there's plenty to think about here.

3) Creating a new location, for example, a temple, where Krystal can communicate with the tribe's shaman (who will most likely be the female warrior from the arena quest, but we'll see). However, this location will be needed more for advancing the game's plot, but that doesn't mean I can't try to create its base in advance; it just means there won't be a quest to go to the village of spirits yet.Perhaps there will be a location like a prison or a dungeon, where there will be some vulgar guards, where, under certain circumstances, Krystal might find herself in some trouble... Possibly, but we'll see. But we need to think through this logically, for example, why would Krystal even go there? In general, I don't have a clear idea of ​​how this should look yet; I was mostly just sharing my basic idea. But if you have anything to add, feel free to write in the comments.

In general, unless there are some particularly strong arguments (in comments) in favor of option 1 or 3, I will probably start with option 2.

Next, I would like to discuss several possible ways to distribute the game. Yes, I understand that the game size is quite large, and it will soon be even larger, so I would like to list a few ways that could help simplify the game download process.

1) I think I'll start with the optimal approach, which is to not release updates every month, so as not to force people to download the same thing multiple times, and instead release one large game update, for example, once every six months, but in the process, I will be sharing video materials that will be included in the game update. I also want to add that after reviewing the archives, I came to the conclusion that my ACT-2 was of the same quality as what I call LOW quality of video materials in the links to ACT-3, so, if you haven't had any problems with the visual quality of ACT-2 in the past, you can safely download the game archive with that setting, although of course the original quality of ACT-3 is much better.

2) I can move the explicit scenes to external links on a website, and for example, if a player doesn't want to see scenes they've already seen, they can simply not click the link within the game and just move on with the story, still receiving all the bonuses depending on their choices. Yes, I know this option sounds less than ideal, but it would significantly reduce the game size, which many people complain about. Of course, I could also heavily edit the scenes and make them shorter (and perhaps I will shorten some of them), but that would require digging into the archives and rewriting a lot of things, and I don't think working on old content will be a priority for my subscribers. But again, if you have your own opinion on this situation, please feel free to leave it in the comments.

3) I could take a risk and stop archiving my game (although I know there are plenty of programs that can crack almost any archive, but not perfectly), and then I could distribute the game in a modular fashion. For example, version 0.1 could be the base version, and each subsequent update would be downloaded as a separate archive, and upon opening it, you would have to replace the files in the base version (0.1). On the one hand, it would mean downloading much less, but on the other hand... Let's just say, this year I've received about 10 complaints about my Mega links, and if people are having problems with that, I'm afraid the idea of ​​using archives might confuse them even more. Also, you have to consider that, for example, if there are several versions after version 0.1, they will all have to be unpacked and placed in the correct order, replacing the files in the main folder... In short, I wouldn't say it's a bad idea, maybe even the opposite, but completely releasing my project to the public without any archiving... I feel my rights are somewhat infringed upon here, although I understand that those who need to will be able to crack the archive anyway. In short, this option shouldn't be ruled out either.
