I know that there has been no news from me for a long time, the main reason is the high workload and brain drain at my main job. On the one hand, I am now moving towards success, and have significantly increased my client base, on the other... Quite a few new investors turned out to be extremely depressed individuals, and from time to time I have to act as a psychologist in order to calm them down during moments of sharp fluctuations on the stock market. I probably should have warned them right away that if they have problems with their nerves, they shouldn’t get involved in such a field... But what’s done is done, now all I can do is tolerate them until our contract is closed.
Anyway, let's move on to the problems associated with the game:
Unfortunately, I couldn't find adequate weapons with good animations, because although Second Life has a large selection of different weapons on the sales platform, many of them are tailored for roleplay sims, which means that they have a minimum of animation and scripts, and sometimes animations on them... In general, they are so poor that it's even sad. I bought several expensive weapons and the bows didn't even have shooting animations, they just threw a projectile out of the avatar. Brrr.
I found an alternative - to use a weapon that has not bad poses, but does not have good attack animations. For now I think I'll leave it like this, although if someone knows a good store with weapons with high-quality animations - feel free to share links to them.I'll prepare a video sequence in the next few days and see how it looks, and then I'll move on. If I feel that I just can't devote enough time to make serious progress on the game right now, I'll close the donation collection this month, and maybe, if this continues in the same vein - I'll even take a break from all this.
But I hope it won't come to that.In general, we'll see what materials I can collect this month, and closer to the end of it - I'll make a decision - what to do next. However, in a few days I'll still post a video set for the weapons that I've chosen so far (not everything is recorded yet, I'm still experimenting), However, if I manage to find something better (or someone helps me in this search), I will post updated versions too.
