A change of pace. We interviewed a French writer and translator of Russian poetry, Thierry Martignac, whose name i butchered hilariously at the start of the pod.
He was good friends with Eduard Limonov and married his ex-wife who taught him Russian. He frequently visited the USSR and Russia as a guest and witnessed the rise and fall of the eXile firsthand. He translated one the greatest modern Russian poets, Boris Ryzhiy.
