Quality over Quantity here
i just spoked to one other 3D artist who makes 3D comics.
he pushes out 3 new renders every day.
But then his renders only takes 15minutes to make with primitive lighting.
Thats the problem with every 3D program
The more lights you add the longer it takes to render.
i use alot of "real" spotlights in every scene but i want my renders to look as realistic as possible with real pop and 3d depth to them.
if you use 1 light only like most artists uses the renders will look dull and flat
characters looks lifeless.
also its easy to just pose characters and then hit render.
i use alot of simulation to mimic real world physics.
objects interacts with the characters.
alot of squeeze effects is also simulated.
all of this takes time
The last Back at home renders takes 4 hours each to render.
i could push out 3 renders each day but then i need to work with this full time.
thats not possible right now
its still an hobby.
i hope all of you enjoys quality over quantity.
Thats probably why you are here,to get the best and most realistic renders there is :)
Dr.Pelos
You are right my friend, especially I appreciate the quality more than the quantity of renders that you publish per day, and I know perfectly well that it is not your main job and that there may be days in which nothing is published, I understand it.
