Well, this is my diploma work. It's aquatint, 10x15 cm.
I picked The Hobbit because of opportunity to draw my beloved Smaug, but ended up drawing furry hobbit feet.and undersized old men rather than dragons.
Anyway, it was fun, mostly. Even though it looks differently from what i imagined at the beginning of diploma year and differs in quality from one illustration to another, the process of making something of that scale was a valuable experience. Along with these 6 years i spend here of course. After all I'm glad i made it in time to finish all the illustrations i wanted, which was the first time during my studying, haha. 
I hope i'll visit my institute again some day to make some etching for myself.
