We are currently working on the final polishing touches for the upcoming update. During this week, we plan to upload the download links and begin the final round of testing to make sure everything works as smoothly as possible before release.

We have also added three new difficulty options to the game:

Easy, Normal, and Hard Mode

We want Forgotten Cove to be enjoyable for every kind of player. Whether you mainly want to experience the story, enjoy a balanced survival challenge, or test yourself with a much tougher experience, you will now be able to choose the difficulty that suits your playstyle.

This update will also include our first batch of new language translations. Since this is our first multilingual release, we expect that there may be quite a few translation, grammar, formatting, or context-related mistakes.

We would really appreciate your help!

When you notice any language errors, please report them through our Discord channel. Screenshots and details about where the mistake appears will help us fix the issues much faster.

Dear friends,

We have some great news: most of the rendering work for the next update is now complete, and there is a very good chance that we will be able to release it before the end of this month!

At the moment, we have created more than 1,000 brand-new renders, not including the animations that are still being worked on.

Most of these renders are not focused on nude content. This update is mainly about strengthening the story, improving the characters’ arrival on the island, and turning the early survival features into proper, fully visualized story events instead of simple gameplay mechanics.

However, there are still some scenes that we believe will make many of you very happy—especially what Maxwell receives from Madison and Mia in exchange for giving them the volleyball.

There is no sexual intercourse yet, but the relationships and story are developing in a very exciting direction. We want the eventual peak of these storylines to feel truly meaningful and rewarding.

We do not want to slide down a tiny hill.

We want to keep climbing the mountain—so that when we finally reach the top, the view will be unforgettable.

Development is moving forward at full speed!

At the moment, we believe there is a good chance that the new update will be ready by the end of this month. However, we do not want to make a firm promise just yet, because there is still a huge amount of work ahead of us. We would rather take the time needed to deliver something polished than rush an unfinished release.

One of the biggest and most exciting additions is that Forgotten Cove will soon support 10 languages besides English:

This is a major step for the game, and we are incredibly excited to make Forgotten Cove accessible to many more players around the world.

And there is one more goal we are working toward: if everything goes according to plan, we are also hoping to release the mobile version alongside this update.

There is still a mountain of work to complete, but the progress is real, the team is motivated, and this update is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet.

Even though the next update has taken longer than we originally planned, we are doing our best to make it worth the wait.

Our goal is not to create just another visual novel. We want Forgotten Cove to feel like a meaningful, immersive story, more like a novel you can live through. Sometimes inspiration is not as easy to reach as it may seem from the outside, especially when working under pressure and dealing with a busy schedule. But we are continuing to push forward and improve every part of the game.
