This week has mostly been spent building out a brand new diner location for an upcoming Tuesday (Week 2) scene where David takes Libby and Penny out after dance rehearsal.

Right now I’m still heavily in the world-building phase rather than full render production, so a lot of the work has involved kitbashing assets together, creating the diner storefront itself, fitting it naturally into the surrounding cityscape, building background character assets, and setting up all the lighting needed to make the location feel believable and alive.

It’s one of those scenes that sounds fairly straightforward when writing it… then suddenly turns into building an entire section of the world around it.

The full Tuesday script is now completely finished, with production continuing to catch up on the rendering side. Current render count has also climbed past 770+ already, with several more scenes still left to build and produce.

I’m also getting closer to one of the bigger decision points for Susan later in the update… and that one may end up changing a few things moving forward.
