Plans for the Next Update + some usless information
Hi everyone!
In this post I want to talk about the plans for the next update, and also share some news about how the game is doing in terms of visibility and popularity.
Plans for the next update
Definitely planned:
- A new character (the shop owner)
- Some content with the shop owner
- Improvements to the digging mini-game
- A new lake location
- A fishing mini-game
- Economy changes — fish will be used to feed the dragon girl
Because the list is pretty long, I’m not sure there will be enough time to add new dragon girl content in this update. I may instead improve sounds and polish existing animations.
Honestly, there are many small things I’d love to redraw and improve, but that would take a lot of time, and I want development to keep moving at a good pace.
This post is getting long again, but I also wanted to share that the game finally got indexed on
itch.io. That brought around 5,000 views in a couple of days, but no new Patreon supporters yet.
The first time it got indexed, I was in the top new popular games. But as I mentioned before, I edited the game description at that moment, which sent it back into indexing for another two weeks… and now I’m around #150 in new popular games 😄
Maybe after the next update my ranking will refresh and things will go better (although updates also need to go through indexing again).
So, if anyone was curious: apparently you can’t just make a random hentai game and instantly earn a lot of money. 😄
In any case, I’ll keep trying. This is my first game, I only started learning Unity recently, and I’m continuing to improve. I believe that if I don’t give up, things will work out.
I’m still trying to convince myself that I can release updates every two weeks, but to avoid overpromising, I’ll only guarantee one update per month.
If I can maintain a two-week schedule, I’ll always keep one paid early version available on Patreon.
