Shor (Lorkhan)
In The Elder Scrolls universe there are many gods, both well-known and little-known, about whom legends and myths are composed. Paintings, statues, frescoes are dedicated to some, but there are so many ancient deities that people don't know much about, especially about what god himself looks like.
And now a little history of TES.
The name of this deity is Shor, aka Lorkhan - this is his elven name.
He is Aedra, who deceived the gods to encourage them to create Nirn (the planet on which Tamriel is located), after which the gods "killed" him. But they could not destroy him completely, because because of the creation of Nirn, his heart became immortal, and then the gods pushed the heart into Nirn, it fell into the ocean, and Red Mountain appeared in this place.
- In the Nordic myths, Shor is the main god of all People. In essence, he is the progenitor and protector of all people and a fighter against the elven gods and elves.
- Lorkhan in the pantheon of elves is the same as the devil because according to their worldview, he is to blame for their earthly life.
In the cultures of other peoples, this god is also found, but under other names, in Hammerfell - Sep, in Daggerfall - Sheor, in Cyrodiil - Shezar, Elsweyr - Lorhadj, in Tenetopi - Citysit, in Skyrim - Shor.
