Lion & Bear tiers
Hey everyone,
I want to talk a bit about my Patreon (boosty) tiers and how I’ll be handling sketch rewards going forward.
The LION and BEAR reward slots have been around since 2021. That’s 5 years. It’s an incredible amount of time, and I’m immensely grateful to all of you for your support, but it’s time to make some changes.
I’m not ready to completely give up on these support slots, but I can make some adjustments
First of all — everything that was already agreed on before will be completed exactly as promised. If you have accumulated slots and we discussed full rendered pieces, I will still honor that.
However, I’ve run into a situation where many slots have been saved up over time, and some people are now returning with 5+ pieces at once. While I totally understand why this happened (and it was allowed before), this has created a workload that I realistically can’t handle at the same level anymore.
Over time, my workflow, time investment, and overall approach to art have changed, and the old tier structure no longer reflects the amount of work required.
So starting from today, I’m adjusting the tiers:
BEAR (~$80 or 6000 rub) — will now be a colored sketch (no shading), more of a doodle-style piece.
LION (~$185 or 13500 rub) — will now be a shaded sketch, clearly in a sketch style (not a full rendered illustration).
I also want to clarify expectations — these tiers are meant to be sketch-based, not fully polished illustrations. I’ve noticed some confusion around this, and I want to make it clear to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
