I read your post. I sympathize as I was in the same situation as you were early this year. I contracted cold shoulder and became partially immobilized. Shortly after going into extended sick leave my company announced a layoff. For me it ended up okay despite the huge layoff (60% had to leave). It is sad to read that for you it did not. I donated something to help you out. I hope that you can find some work. You thought about joining kinggath's company or any other startup software development company?

Cardmaster, Thanks, friend. I hadn't heard that Kinggath has his own company, but how can I become their employee if I've worked as a builder my whole life and programming is just my hobby? And my skill level is far from the best. It's unlikely any software company would tolerate an employee learning on the job.
