Free Autumn Pumpkin Crochet Pattern 🎃🍂
Let's crochet a pumpkin! 😉
You will need:
* Orange Yarn
* Green Yarn
* Suitable crochet hook (I've used 2.0 mm hook and 425 m/100 g cotton yarn. The pumpkin is about 5.5 cm.)
* Fiberfill for stuffing
* Yarn needle for sewing.
Terminology:
sc - single crochet
Inc - Increase, 2 sc in the same space
Dec - Decrease, single crochet two together.
The pumpkin:
Rnd 1: Magic Ring (8)
Next, crochet the pumpkin in back loop only!
Rnd 2: [Inc] x 8 (16)
Rnd 3: [sc 1, Inc] x 8 (24)
Rnd 4: [Inc, sc 2] x 8 (32)
Rnd 5: [sc 3, Inc] x 8 (40)
Rnd 6: [sc 2, Inc, sc 2] x 8 (48)
Rnd 7: sc around (48)
Rnd 8: [Inc, sc 5] x 8 (56)
Rnd 9-20: sc around (56)
Rnd 21: [Dec, sc 5] x 8 (48)
Rnd 22: sc around (48)
Rnd 23: [sc 2, Dec, sc 2] x 8 (40)
Rnd 24: [sc 3, Dec] x 8 (32)
Rnd 25: [Dec, sc 2] x 8 (24)
Stuff the pumpkin.
Rnd 26: [sc 1, Dec] x 8 (16)
Rnd 27: [Dec] x 8 (8)
Close up the pumpkin using the yarn needle with long enough tail.
Pull the needle through the center of the pumpkin. Pull tight.
Next, thread the yarn through the front loops on the pumpkin from the lower center to the upper center. Pull the needle through the pumpkin center again. Pull tight.
In the same way divide the pumpkin into 8 parts.
Pumpkin stalk:
Rnd 1: Magic Ring (6)
Rnd 2-6: sc around (6)
Rnd 7: [Inc] x 6 (12)
Rnd 8: [Inc, sc 1] x 6 (18)
Finish off the detail leaving a long tail for sewing the stalk to the pumpkin.
Sew the stalk to the pumpkin. Hide the yarn end.
