Another appaloosa horse OC I was entrusted with, this time for a halfbody drawing 💖 I drew him running through a night field with a crescent moon in the background (to highlight the marking on his head). I also thought a little fireflies wouldn't hurt, and when I added them, they somehow gave fantasy look to the whole artwork 🧚‍♀️

A magical unicorn runs across the water casting ice magic. His coat of a leopard appaloosa horse gleams in the rays of the sun sinking into the ocean. Ice crystals fly out from under his hooves, turning the waves into frozen water. You stand still, catching your breath and appreciating the rare sight. You're truly blessed to see a fantasy creature - that, as the saying goes, only exists in myths and legends.

This is the second piece in a row featuring a winged unicorn. The commissioner usually asks for her pony to be depicted in a more realistic scene, but this time she wanted me to draw him as an alicorn 🦇 Since I couldn't bring myself to just leave him as a fantasy creature on a blank canvas, I went ahead and added a background with bats, full moon and a magic castle. Although I'm usually late with seasonal art, this time I actually managed to get a Halloween artwork done well in advance.

A unicorn was found in the Amazonic jungle!! ⚡️

When I was commissioned with a unicorn in the jungle, I didn't realize that the mane has lotuses instead of lilies, so the jungle should probably be in Asia :D But I got carried away with drawing palms and vines so much that I hadn't think about it at all. It's so relaxing to make guide lines with the vines 🪷

A while ago, I was commissioned to draw a portrait of a mustang (in April, and it took me two months to sketch it out, and then a couple more months to color it). The client requested a detailed forest, so I agreed, and then started thinking about how I would do it. I draw forests pretty often, but I haven't found a consistent workflow that works well for me. Sometimes I start by drawing all the trunks and branches, and sometimes I just use a scatter brush to draw the foliage, but neither method works very well. This time I watched a few tutorials before I started and it helped.

Also I've made a talking video on YouTube where I share my thoughts on the process. There's no speedpaint, just me complaining and talking about the tutorials and brushes I used lol

I was asked to make a realistic horse out of a My Little Pony character, whose theme is rain and butterflies, so I came up with this. It might have a little y2k vibe to it because of the effects, but I like it even more this way. Makes me think of times when I spent hours on online forums back in my childhood
