About

MOGGA is a project aimed at bringing old games to a playable state on modern systems. We all know the typical issues: insane mouse sensitivity, widescreen problems such as stretched HUDs and images, and high-FPS game-breaking bugs.
Usually, fixing all of these requires either a dedicated fix pack or manually installing several unrelated fixes, tweaking settings, or resorting to frame-rate caps just to keep the game from breaking. MOGGA aims to consolidate all of this into one place, with one convenient installation that fixes every issue with a single click.
MOGGA fixes the underlying problems rather than working around them. If a game breaks at high frame rates, the goal is to fix the broken timing or engine behavior, not simply cap the FPS so we could all enjoy beautiful 2003 visuals on modern ultrafast monitors.
We don't steal or use other people's work. Every published fix is the result of MOGGA's own reverse engineering, development, and testing for a particular game.
Subscription does not provide any extra benefits. MOGGA is a completely free project.

Max Payne WIP/ ENGLISH

The Max Payne patch is in progress. It's an old Remedy game utilizing obsolete APIs, such as DirectSound and DirectX 8, but still a classic, beloved by many.
The target of this particular fix is to fix the modern systems compatibility, implement widescreen support and fix certain high FPS bugs.

The startup.

First on our list, the original 1.05 game can't properly read CPU capabilities, leading to a startup crash (the infamous "JPEG error"). That is fixed now. I also redesigned the original game launcher, allowing for GPU/Display selection, and primary display with its native resolution as default, no more 640x480 default. I've also removed odd resolutions from the list, such as 1280x1440, keeping only the ones with native aspect ratio. I don't know why 2001 needs GPU selection, it could run fine even if Windows have decided to run it on an integrated toaster, but, here it is.
