Today's kit was an experiment in purchasing resin kits from Aliexpress; it cost $15, but had a lot of gaps and seams that had to be puttied. The whole pillow needed resculpting to even fit with 2B's legs :)

I tried painting veins under her skin; it's a slow-going technique that takes a lot of time, but the result is quite stunning.

Should I try and do more kits in the similar style?

An extremely finicky kit that was built very much like a ball-jointed doll (separate eyes, mouth, a lot of parts were unnecessarily separated). Putting it together was quite a nightmare, but the result was worth it. This kit by Eldora Model is probably the most accurate Sailor Moon depiction since the release of the newer franchise, as it's beautifully crafted and meticulously sculpted.

I ended up puttying her mouth up and giving her a grin instead, as it's more character appropriate.

A rare and hard to find kit by Puninuko that was released sometime around 2018. I somehow managed to find a copy and painted it, but some parts were fairly tricky, especially the twintails, which had a very small base area for pinning. Apparently, the person who painted the sample for this kit managed to switch the ponytails around; I wondered why the fit was looking atrocious :DBlood was added by mixing epoxy glue and pastel dust. The eye was supposed to be a cherry, but how could I miss an opportunity to make a horror kit more gory?

A kit I'd built for myself as a skill workout. Overall an easy build, but the dress didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.
