What can I say about yarn?
1 - I often hear that pure cotton is not good for amigurumis. WHAT??? It's my number one love! I mean, it's smooth and bright; it can be matte or shiny; there's a large variety of colors and thickness. Isn't it a dream?
2 - Embroidery floss can be used for crocheting, too. Mostly for small amigurumis, but have I ever made anything big? Pros: even more colors, the thread can be divided into thinner ones, small ravels. And metallic threads! No cons were detected during the years od work.
3 - Melanges and multicolors take my breath away. But I can use them, unfortunately. My dolls are not big enough to show all the potential of section dyed yarn.
