Hello! This is the second release of gwater2, a revolutionary dynamic water addon for Garry's Mod.

Please read everything so you know how to install and use this addon!

1. JOIN MY DISCORD (https://discord.gg/xWvhfargMY)  IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY MONTHLY FOR UPDATES! UPCOMING RELEASES WILL BE PROVIDED THERE.

2. PLEASE report bugs, issues, comments, and critique to me through patreon or in my discord. Feedback is VERY important to me! :D

3. PLEASE do not redistribute or publicly post this anywhere. I know paid gmod addons are a little frowned upon, but PLEASE understand it will be FREE and OPEN SOURCE during the full release.

4. Multiplayer does not work! Only use gwater2 in singleplayer! Multiplayer will be fixed in a later update :)

------------- How to install -------------

1. Download the .BAT installer attached to this post

2. Run it and follow the directions. Type and enter '1' when it prompts you

3. If you need help, or something isn't working properly, feel free to contact (DM) me, or ask for help in the discord.

4. Open up gmod and start playing! At the moment there is only a water gun swep (instructions found near the bottom right when holding it). and a custom menu which can be opened with (by default) the 'G' key. (This bind can be changed in the utilities tab of the gmod menu)

5. If you are a Linux user, apologies. At the moment there is not a Linux-only install. For now using Photon should suffice. I am currently working on rewriting the codebase to support Linux and use cmake. If you cannot figure out how to install it (iirc .bat is windows only), DM me and I can give you the files directly.

1. Use the .BAT installer and choose the second option (type '2' and hit enter)

- Cloth

- Reaction forces (water can force objects around)

- Diffuse particles (foam / bubbles)

- General optimizations- More menu options

- Multiplayer support

- SENTS / Entities (like drain)

- Saveable presets

- Simulation accuracy settings

- Swimming

- Better under water effect

- Better API

- Water gun model

- Linux compile

3. Here is a list of ideas I have which are in the back of my mind, but don't be too excited as I might not add these upcoming features. Just know that I'm thinking about them

- Sound

- Parser compatibility for all .bsp types

- Softbodies / Rigidbodies

- Proper water lighting
