The Bigholm Bridge [RUS + ENG]

oh god I've made it.. 1 of 3 left. How to survive..

Btw, here is some facts about this bridge in KatlU story:

- An official name of the bridge is "Bigholm Bridge"

- This bridge was in disastered state for a long time. It was reconstracted a few month ago, before Mirah and Gerald even arrives at Woolthfort. During the war, the brick fences were hurshly damaged. Some of the important details (such as a horse statues) was complitely ruined and never tried to be restored. Because of it, the city authorities decided to remove any sight of it and replace fences with iron. The old gas-powered lanterns were also dismantled and new ones were installed shortly in time. The autoreties also decided to build "more attractive" embankment on the opposite side. That's why you can see the felled trees in the distance. But since the summer, where all works was started, it was stopped and no one know when it will resumed. Some of the city dwellers speculated that this is caused by a conflict between the authorities and entrepreneurs.

- The bridge leads to the opposite side of the city, were resign abandoned village and church. At very top of the mountain located an old castle.

- It popularly known as the "Road to oblivion", and "the bridge of Death". The rumors spread that later at night you can hear the clatter of hooves and sound of wheels traveling thought that bridge to the city. Yet another similar noises can be heard a few hours after, but on the opposite side of the bridge. The residents claimed that it was Death carriage, that arrives at city in order to take the unfortunate soul that died last night and send it to Non-Existence, or "Edem". It would all stays as urban legend, if there wasn't been an actual murder that took place that night.

Кстати, вот вам коротенькие факты про этот мост:

- Официальное название - Бигхольмский мост (Bigholm Bridge)

- Незадолго до начала основной истории, мост был реконструирован. За время войны кирпичные ограждения были сильно повреждены и их заменили на железные, а старые, работающие от газа, фонари были демонтированы и поставлены новые. Статуи, что располагались по обе стороны моста, во время войны были полностью разрушены. Посему, их не стали восстанавливать. Власти города так же нацелились построить "более привлекательную" набережную на противоположной стороне. Из-за этого вдали можно увидеть срубленные деревья. Однако, работы, ведущиеся ещё с лета, были остановлены в виду неизвестных событий. Местные поговаривают, что это из-за конфликта местных властей с предпринимателями.

- Мост ведет на противоположную сторону, в заброшенную деревушку в горах. Чуть выше располагается церковь, а на самой вершине красуется старинный замок.

- В народе мост известен так "Дорога в небытие", или же "мост Смерти". По слухам, глубокой ночью на мосту можно услышать топот копыт и звук колёс, проезжающих сначала в город, а после из него. Жители утверждают, что это Смерть приезжает в город, дабы забрать несчастную душу, погибшую минувшей ночью, с собой в Небытие (или же "Эдем", как величают в народе). Слухи бы и дальше оставались слухами, если бы в эту ночь действительно не происходило убийство.
