We’ve gotten ourselves into a very complicated situation while recording new material, specifically RMT (Real Money Trading) on world bosses in Albion Online.
Here’s a brief summary of what happened over the past two months.
Initially, we just wanted to record a video about world bosses, gather some statistics, and do a few interviews, but this led to threats, blackmail, and bribery attempts. According to rumors, a community manager was searching for us, and all the trails led to him, but let's go in order.
Chapter One. The Beginning.
I started reaching out to people to find out what was happening with world bosses, how much fame can be farmed there, how long it takes to level 700 mastery, and how much money people make. In response, I received extreme aggression with statements that this content wasn’t needed by anyone. This only fueled my interest in making a video, as it was unclear why such a reaction was happening. We, the MR.Dak team, began a thorough investigation to figure out who was making what and how much they were earning. Within a week, we found a few people willing to talk, but they still didn’t want to share any information.
Chapter Two. New People.
Unfortunately, we promised to keep some individuals anonymous, and we’re keeping our word. The first person willing to communicate, let’s call him Mr.V, gave us a lot of information and provided a few contacts of people who "control the world bosses." An interesting fact was that the community manager, Seraphimus, allegedly let people out of bans for a symbolic 500 rubles (no proof of this was presented, but we will investigate this further). We contacted a person named Dozen, who claimed to "manage several world bosses." During our communication, he insisted that there was no RMT on his bosses, that he strictly monitored this, and would never allow such things. But I’ll say upfront — we found people involved in RMT on his world bosses, and it’s not just one or two individuals. Almost every ad on FunPay led to his world bosses, and the people who leaked information from his Discord also shared some curious screenshots.
As shown in the attached screenshot, one of the "Mentors" of a world boss is selling mastery leveling to 700 in 3 days, which is practically impossible for an average player. After we brought up this fact, Dozen "fell apart" and started claiming he didn’t know and hadn’t seen what was happening. But, honestly, it's hard to believe that a person who’s been involved in this business for years isn’t profiting from it. I think the answer is obvious.
