So, slowly but surely Testarossa is coming up to release. But one important question is still here: classic Ferrari is famous for their open shifters, but in AC it's a real headache. Managed to make this work, but sadly with one hand only for driver. The video shows comaprsion between two-handed and one-handed shifting. As you see, the classic and more race-about two handed steering is kind of messy with floating hand and shifter that lives it's own life. However, second solution have opposite problem: even though driver is perfectly shift gears, I can't make him put hand back on wheel without bugs, cause If could, I woudn't make this post ;). So instead of driving 400 hp supercar on track, he is probably having chill urban ride. Maybe someday I will solve this puzzle, but for now, this is least buggy open shifter animation I can provide, so, the question is:
You, my community, will choose classic two-handed animation with just the shifter moving, or one-handed one. For both I will improve animation, especially for one-handed, since drivers left hand should always stay on wheel. Or, if you know a perfect way to use open-shifter with both hands on wheels, you can leave a solution in comments.
