Motive Click

I was inspired to create this mod by one of my favorite QoL features from The Sims 4. If you're tired of manually searching the house for the nearest toilet, fridge, or bed every time your Sim gets uncomfortable, Motive Click is here to handle the micromanagement for you!
Features:
- Click a need bar and your Sim takes care of it. Left and right-click both work by default, but if testingcheatsenabled true is active, left-click stays reserved for vanilla drag-to-fill, so use right-click for Motive Click.

Car Paint

Maybe it’s that hand-me-down sedan you inherited from an older relative, looking a little too tired in the morning light. Maybe it’s a fresh start in a new town, where turning a rust bucket into a calm sage green feels like the first step toward settling in. Maybe it’s that classic post-breakup urge to reinvent everything, starting with the car parked outside. Or maybe it’s just a slow morning with a warm mug of coffee, soft music on the radio, and the urge to do something creative with your hands.
After all, our cars take such good care of us, and they deserve a little love in return. Pick a fresh new shade, spend a peaceful afternoon giving it a second life, and fall in love with your faithful ride all over again.

Features:
- Click your car and pick "Paint..." to choose from 10 preset colors, or customize it your own way with Create a Style. If you cancel the interaction midway through, you get every simoleon back.
- A paint job takes 40 Sim minutes by default, but Handiness and Painting both help (whichever is higher). The better their skill, the quicker it goes, down to half the time at level 10.
- Certain Sims genuinely enjoy the work: Vehicle Enthusiast, Artistic, Avant Garde, and Handy Sims paint 15% faster on top of any skill bonus, and their Fun rises while they're at it.
- A paint job costs §250 by default, and the exact price for that Sim is shown right in the pie menu. Frugal, Handy

Car Ride

There's a certain kind of therapy in a long drive. Whether you're planning a relaxing family drive, a late-night romantic cruise, or just need some quiet time to clear your head, it's all possible with Car Ride. Now your Sims can take their car and just go for a drive. They'll ride around town, solo or with company, and head back home whenever they've had enough.

Car Interactions

No matter where your Sims are headed, be it a fun road trip, a lively party at a friend's house, or a visit to relatives who might be short on beds, the car is always part of the adventure. This mod adds a few more interactions to vehicles: Sims can sit in the car, take a nap, or turn the headlights on whenever they feel like it.
Features:
- Car Talk: Sims can now talk to each other inside the car (both when parked and while driving).
- Sit in the car: Sims can sit in any seat, driver's or passenger's, and just relax for a while. Fun goes up while they're inside.
- Nap in the car: Sims can take a nap in the parked car (or even in a moving one, if they're a passenger), slowly restoring energy with a custom sleeping animation.
- Eat in the car: Sims can now grab a bite or enjoy any meal right from their seat.
- Read in the car: Sims can now open any book from their inventory to pass the time or build skills.
- Take photos: Just like with phones, Sims can also use handheld cameras to capture the moment.
- Use phones: Sims can now use all smartphone features from their seats.
- Toggle headlights: You can turn the headlights of a parked car on or off. They stay on until you switch them off or someone drives the car.
- Traits matter: Sims with the "Vehicle Enthusiast", "Adventurous", or "Loves the Outdoors" traits get better rest from car naps and won't wake up with a sore back. Sims without these traits aren't always so lucky.

Car Speed Mod

Adds selectable driving speeds to vehicles! Just click a car to set your preferred speed, slow down, put on some music with my Car Radio mod, and simply enjoy the ride.
Features:
- Change speeds while driving: Just click on the car your Sim is in, open the new "Speed..." menu, and pick your pace.
- Three speeds to choose from: They automatically adapt to whatever car you're driving:
  • High (1.0) - This is the car's default (maximum) in-game speed.
  • Medium (0.60) - A nice, normal pace.
  • Low (0.30) - Perfect for a slow, scenic cruise.
Compatibility:
- It's a lightweight script mod. It doesn't override any core game files or write to your save file, so it's 100% safe to add or remove anytime.
XML Tuning (via s3pe):
- kSpeedLowFactor: Decide exactly how slow "Low" is. Default: 0.30 (30% of max speed).
- kSpeedMediumFactor: Decide how fast "Medium" is. Default: 0.60 (60% of max speed).
- kSpeedHighFactor: The "High" speed limit. Default: 1.0 (please leave this at 1.0, setting it higher might break things!).

Car Radio Mod

Brings fully functional radios to cars! Just click a vehicle to turn the radio on/off, change the station, skip tracks, or adjust the volume.
Features:
- Works exactly like regular in-game stereos.
- NPCs will turn on the radio while driving and play their favorite genres! (The chance of this happening is tunable).
- Sims can dance to the music playing from the car radio.
- Everyone near the car gets the vanilla "Enjoying Music" moodlet from the radio (+5 mood boost, plus extra if their favorite genre is playing).
- Beautiful music notes will appear while the radio is playing.
- Service vehicles (police, ambulances, ice cream trucks, etc.) don't get radios by default. You can edit this list.
- All text is pulled directly from the game, meaning it's automatically translated into all languages (except for the pie menu).
