TDLT #2 - First week of work

Hi, guys.
Last week was productive, filled with drawing and setting up preparatory materials for the next build.
CG scenes took the longest to draw. Along with that, I’m focusing on closing the “Rider’s face” mini-arc which is a little longer than in the old TDLT version.
Several locations were unlocked, a couple of new ones were added. Several new characters were also introduced.
A large portion of my focus was taken by the reputation system and the various character lines it impacts. It won’t play a big role in the next update, but it’s important to make it well operational now to avoid issues in future.
More in the spoiler section.
For those who reject pesky spoilers, I bid you farewell until the next week! The rest of you, proceed over the spoiler line to get spoiled.
Here’s an image for the spoiler rejecters with wide screens, to prolong the vertical length of this post.

Work Progress Report, SPOILERS AHEAD
Following spoilers include: Artwork, gameplay mechanincs, zoomed out display of new locations.
Regarding the aforementioned CG scenes, one is complete, the other is almost there. One of them is a reworked scene from the old TDLT. The other is new, with a girl who has never had a scene before.
Let's make comparisons again.
The next build will reintroduce Lola. Her proportions were adjusted to normal so that she wouldn't look weird without clothes.
I don’t remember when did I do it, but I’m glad I did. It saved time
.
You may have noticed the frivolous girl Marlis in the first build. I don’t think I mentioned working on her. She was completely remade:
She will play a bigger role in the game this time.
Red Riding Hood.
The proportions of her body, face, and clothing have been adjusted. A hoodless version of her clothing has also been added.
Maleficent. Some of you may remember her from my website. She'll be appearing in the next build.
She’s already operational, but is currently waiting for me to add more facial expressions.
Also added Fat Lily and Merlin. Both received minor changes. Not worth showcasing.
Reputation system.
I took some time to set up this one for the upcoming village, so I’ll shed light on how it works, since I entirely coded this thing by myself and now it’s done. In TDLT, your evil deeds won’t be forgotten. The reputation you gain will accumulate on the villain meter, and the same applies to the good guy gauge. Judging by amount of both, people of the current location will have their opinion of you. It might affect availability of shops, or quests, etc.
The way chars react at the system is simple; they will only look at three ranges of your reputation scores (with some exceptions). This table shows the ranges taken into account:
You might think that there's a bigger window for being disliked than liked in the game. There is.  🤷‍♂️
Also, you might want to check your reputation in the Journal. Unlike the menu, this lists your important actions that can affect something significant.
This one is sexual reputation:
Points are awarded every time you do adult naptime with a new woman. The more sexual rep you have, the more attractive you are to local women, which means the more opportunities you will have to connect with some of them.
The Dark Lord’s Influence.
While you may corrupt ladies, the Dark Lord’s influence corrupts the entire place. People become more sexually open and sex-crazed, leading some to start having sex right on the street. New storylines open up and sexual reputation begins to play a less important role.
To gain influence points, you first need to purchase property that will serve as a means of spreading influence.
The gauge turns yellow and you can add influence points to it. The more you invest in it, the more influence your building spread.
A building with this property can be found in every village and city. In each major city (such as the capital of Corona or Vardaros) there are 3 buildings that can be purchased. However, due to the size of the territory, they gain points more slowly.
In big towns, each building you purchase increases the indicator's threshold by 33%. So, if you want to reach 100% of corruption, you will have to buy all three properties there.
New locations.
A chain of locations was unlocked. 2 of them were added. Some require some minor quality fixes. Several new monsters are planned to be added to the maps.
That concludes today's report. See you next week!
Take care of yourselves.
