It's finally time to come out of "missing developer mode" and explain what’s been going on.

First, I completely immersed myself in expanding and refining the story's interactive elements. The more I planned, the more I realized there was still a lot to figure out. As they say, the devil is in the details... and then there are the details of the details. 😄

The upcoming version introduces quite a few new faces, and each character needs their own personality, logic, and believable interactions. That alone ended up taking me nearly a month of planning.

And just when everything was finally ready for full-speed development... my PC decided it deserved a vacation too. 😄

More specifically, my motherboard failed. The repair shop confidently told me, "Just a couple of days, we'll have it fixed." Well... somehow those "couple of days" magically turned into almost a month of waiting for a replacement chipset. Apparently, the logistics gods decided my side quest wasn't challenging enough yet.

Every few days I'd tell myself, "I'll get my PC back any day now, then I'll post an update." So I kept putting this post off because I genuinely believed the wait was almost over. As you've probably guessed... this quest turned out to be a lot longer than expected. 😅

The good news is that, if everything goes according to plan, my computer should finally be back within the next few days, along with full-scale development. At this point, the technician has practically sworn that the chipset is on its way and everything will finally be fixed properly.

As soon as I'm back up and running, I'll start sharing regular development updates again—new locations, new characters, everything I've been working on behind the scenes, and, of course, the final sprint toward releasing the new version. Trust me... I've got plenty of exciting things to show you. 😉
