Chapter 9.5 is now available for free. Think of it as the connective tissue that made the story hold together properly.
At the time it was released, it fixed several issues that had been bothering me — and, judging by the feedback, bothering some of you too. The main chapter 9 experience is cleaner with it applied. If you played 9 without it, it's worth running through. If you're just starting the game, it's included in the current build and you won't need to think about it at all.
