Nano Banana — Free Websites or Paid Websites? 💻🍌💰🚨
Here’s my answer based on my experience so far :
When it comes to using Nano Banana for free, there are a few websites that offer this option, but you should be aware of some important points. If you’re only using it for fun and generating a few images per day, the free versions are definitely good enough. But for people like me who use it a lot and in a more professional way, the limitations of free platforms quickly become a big obstacle.
First, free versions don’t give you unlimited generations. After a few outputs, the generation speed drops significantly, and eventually, it can get so slow that you can’t really wait for a single image anymore—you end up stuck in long queues. Second, most free platforms don’t let you generate 4 outputs from a single prompt at the same time. Even if they do, restrictions kick in quickly to control usage traffic.
On the other hand, paid platforms (the one I personally chose is OpenArt) don’t have these restrictions. You can generate 4 outputs simultaneously, and by clicking again you can even get up to 8 at once. Since it’s a paid service, no usage limitations are applied. Another big reason I chose OpenArt is the excellent interface, plus the fact that alongside Nano Banana you also get access to many other top image models, which you can easily switch between—such as Idiogram 3, Flux Krea, Flux Pro, Flux Kontex Max, Imagen3, and more. They even provide famous video-generation models like Kling, Veo3, Seedance Pro, Huilou, and others.
So, if you’re using AI in a professional way, you definitely need a paid version. But if it’s just for fun and a few tries per day, free options like Google Studio can work perfectly fine.
One last note: the OpenArt link I’ve shared with you is an affiliate link for me. And yes, OpenArt is an official sponsor of Jockerai—but honestly, even if they weren’t sponsoring me, I would still choose their platform for all the reasons I’ve mentioned above. On top of that, they’ve priced some models cheaper than the actual model creators themselves, which makes it even more attractive.
Nano Banana is awesome. And simple. Its just write what you want and it will do it
Maxim Revyakin, Yes exactly, and the output is the highest quality compared to all other models. Accuracy + HQ is really amazing :)
Hello Jockerai, Will it be possible to use nano banana locally with confyUI in the future? Thank you, Gabry.
Gabriele Ladini, Maybe yes but for now it is not open source.
Thank you Jockerai
