March passed
One may notice that March wasn't my most productive month. Any productive, I'd say. Last week was way better, thankfully, so I'm here with some progress.
Firstly, I participated in a little challenge studying small animals. I decided to pick some that live in the Far East: sable; taiga shrew; arctic ground squirrel; and wolverine (this one isn't small, but I wanted to draw one because they are cool).
There was a point while I was drawing them when I felt that I'm about to figure something about how to make things look better, but it passed quick. I kinda hate when you feel the smell upgrade but can't grab it just yet. Maybe with next drawing?
Then I've finished a couple of sketches I did in February for a “sexy vampire design” challenge. Well, “sexy” wasn't exactly my point, though I'm all for people who do find this kind of thing sexy.
Requests ended being: male; black down to toes hair; pale green skin; rococo/swag clothes; extra beefy body type; giant vampire cape as an accessory; small decorative wings as extra detail. Not all of these are visible here also I kind of forgot to add some details I intended. 🤔
Now I have so many things to work on next. Would love to make my priority working on “Led by Flame” and some prints and patterns for next month, though knowing me I'll probably jump for something completely different midway. But having a plan is supposed to be a good start!
I also could use some general changes in my life. Or rather my approach, and some mental health improvements. To be more like a real artist? Like an adult? I kind of feel midlife crisis calling, which doesn't help. 😅 Maybe this time I will even manage to do something.
