Instruction:    

- ask Ss to say what the typical activities they do in winter/for Christmas/New Year and help them with the emergent vocabulary.
- pre-teach the target construction Would you rather...? Explain what it means.
- do the activity eliciting some words which your Ss might not remember/not know (e.g. sledding) and asking them to explain their choice.  
- ask your Ss to add more activities if possible (the last slide), help them with emergent language. 

The activity can be used both as a casual warm-up in the beginning of any lesson and as a part of your Christmas-themed lesson.
