Dante:
"Having dedicated his life to honoring the lost lives of others Dante leads and austere life. He is often shifting between remote locations and poor communities providing funeral services to the needy, and the shrinking faithful few in this modern world.
Never wealthy, Dante found security in service to his faith which provided food, shelter, and education for his efforts. Training as an acolyte under senior paladins he learned the ins and outs of ritual, prayer, and duty. That was many years ago now and Dante is often alone with sparingly few days around companions when he stops by temples for supplies and some hard earned rest.
After one particularly intense year servicing communities in the swamps and marshes he decided he needed to take a leave of absence to his duties and maybe a little selfishly seek some of his own glory in life. He heard about the Guild of Extraordinary Tasks from some travelers... Now if only he can get directions out of the swamp."
